Product Description

The Marble Veil is an asymmetric resort set built around pale mineral movement, controlled exposure, and the softness of a surface half-covered by light. The design does not rely on a direct eye, figure, or creature motif. Instead, it translates the Oumna El Ghoula chapter through trace, concealment, and a guarded sense of erosion.

The print is composed in washed ivory, pale blue-grey, muted stone, and warm gold-brown veining. These tones move across the set like weathered marble, clouded walls, or an ancient surface marked by time. The gold-brown lines create the main visual tension: they cut through the paler ground with irregular movement, suggesting hidden routes beneath the fabric rather than decorative lines placed on top.

The silhouette gives the artwork its direction. The one-shoulder cropped top creates a clean diagonal across the body, exposing one side while allowing the opposite side to fall into a long sleeve-like drape. This imbalance is deliberate. It gives the look a sculptural tension between bareness and coverage, stillness and release.

The wrap mini skirt continues the same visual language through layered fabric and a side knot. From the hip, the long falling sash pulls the print downward, allowing the marble-like surface to extend beyond the main body of the skirt. The artwork appears folded, gathered, and reassembled across the body, which makes the print feel integrated into the construction rather than simply repeated across separate pieces.
